Remote smart meters communicate with our cloud based Meter Management Software System and Dashboard using various communication technologies. These include GSM/GPRS/3G, Power Line Communication and Radio Frequency (RF).
The concentrator is a CPU (Central Processing Unit) for reading electricity and water meters remotely. The CPU communicates via PLC (Power Line Communication) to the electricity meters and via RF (Radio Frequency) to the water meters.
The concentrator allows two-way access to all meters and can be connected to up to 400 metering end points.
